how long have i been gone? erm.. a week right? i've been busy with work and family. which i am loving every minute of it. i've been to quite a number of events during my mia period but what is worth mentioning is my latest party. it was mypaper's first birthday and i was invited to attend its party at sentosa, cafe del mar. initially i was quite hesitant because i am afraid i end work late and might just be too tired to come down. thank goodness, quite a number of my students went for a holiday and i only took 9 students on that day. it was a friday too. i would like to apologise to all the full timers for not being able to stay longer because i was really rushing for time. oh yeah, back to the party.. i really enjoyed myself even though i was all wet. wicked aura was the first to perform and followed by a local scene band. i wasn't really into the performance actually. just the atmosphere, decorations and the ambience makes me so in the mood. party by the beach is fun. with all the drinks displayed, mainly carlsberg; one of the sponsors, i couldn't ask for more. met quite a number of ex sentosa staff and being the normal me... i pretended not to see so that i won't have to talk to them. hahaha. yes, i know i am bad. took quite a few photos but i am not sure whether i should post it up here. i look real ugly.. from all the perspiration.. it sucks. haha. after the concert ended around 11, we stayed around the cafe to order more drinks and food as the resident djs spinnedheir tracks. one last thing to mention about the party is the GUYS. goodness, ranging from chinese to malay to eurasian to caucasian.. they are all so drop dead charming. especially with their beach-y attire. i really enjoyed myself. i wished i could stay longer but too bad i have a long class on satudays. also, liz felt like vomitting and she had to vomit in the cab. LOL.
